About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 96-day locum tenens position at a clinic in Texas. The assignment begins on 11 / 17 / 2025, with a full-time schedule of 4 days per week, 10 hours per day. The physician will be responsible for providing anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, spine, orthopedic, gynecological, colorectal, bariatric, GI, ENT, urology, and healthy pediatric cases (dental rehab, ENT, ophthalmology). The role involves both supervision and solo work, requiring adaptability and expertise across various specialties. This opportunity offers a comprehensive experience in a diverse clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Manage cases in general surgery, spine, orthopedic, gynecological, colorectal, bariatric, GI, ENT, and urology
  • Handle healthy pediatric cases, including dental rehab, ENT, and ophthalmology
  • Perform both supervisory and solo anesthesia work
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Adapt to various case types and patient needs
  • Utilize the Cerner electronic health record system
  • Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards of care

Additional Information :

  • Texas state license required
