Position Overview

CMI is seeking an Environmental Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead compliance and sustainability at a major chemical manufacturing facility. Responsible for ensuring adherence to environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, TSCA) and corporate standards, managing permits, reporting, and serving as the main contact with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities may include :

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations
• Manage site-wide environmental programs including air, water, stormwater, waste, and hazardous materials management.
• Maintain and update all environmental permits
• Develop and deliver environmental training to employees, contractors, and management.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments, spill response planning, and root cause analyses of incidents.
• Serve as the primary contact during environmental inspections, audits, and regulatory agency interactions
• Prepare and manage the environmental budget and cost control measures.
• Monitor and interpret environmental regulations for relevance and impact to the facility.
