Job Description :

The Staff Physician – Walk-In Center / Urgent Care will participate fully in the care of patients seen in the Walk-In Center for same day appointments and urgent care.

Educational Requirements :

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.

Experience Required :

Family Practice Residency or Med / Peds Residency required; A minimum of two years of experience in treatment and care of all members of family unit required; experience in urgent care setting or emergency room preferred. Experience in the role of Primary Care Physician preferred.

Professional Licensure / Special Skills and Certification Required :

Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine / Pediatrics (Med / Peds). Must have current licensure by Massachusetts Board of Registration for Medicine, current DEA / MA Controlled Substance Registration; BLS required.

Must be able to work evenings, rotate for weekend and holiday shifts.

Reporting Relationship :

Reporting to the Medical Director of the Walk in Center

Monday-Friday; possibly Saturdays as needed
