Medicus has partnered with a federal facility in northwestern New Mexico that has a contract assignment for an Internal Medicine Physician to assist their team in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity :

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
No call required
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses

Inpatient Details :

Patient Census : 5-14 inpatients, 1-5 admits per shift

Procedures : Paras, thoras, central lines

Duties : Admissions, discharges, transfers, rounding, consults, ICU

Outpatient Details :

1-2 admin half days scheduled per week

Patient Volume : 5-7 patients per clinic half-day

Duties : Primary care, plan of continuity of care, treadmill testing, ECG reading, hospital internal medicine consults
