Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Central Maryland (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking a qualified and board-eligible or certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment near Annapolis, MD. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking for supplemental work in a structured and predictable environment. This locum tenens role is available ASAP, with ongoing opportunities, and provides flexibility with no weekends, no call, and a Monday to Friday schedule.

Position Overview :

  • Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing
  • End Date : Ongoing (initial assignment until October 10, 2024)
  • Practice Setting : Outpatient (No inpatient duties required)
  • Shift Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Procedures : Urology-focused procedures requiring general / MAC anesthesia
  • Patient Load : Approximately 8 patients per shift
  • Coverage Type : Scheduled clinical hours only (No call, no weekends)
  • Provider Count : One anesthesiologist per location
  • EMR System : Cerner

Key Requirements :

  • Licensure : Must hold an active medical license in the state of Maryland
  • Board Certification : Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Certifications Required : ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Privileges : Provider must be able to obtain temporary hospital / surgery center privileges quickly
