CHI St. Joseph Health Grimes Hospital is located Navasota TX and is a 25 bed critical access hospital. Our Medical Unit consists of 18 beds & has a phenomenal leadership team & great overall culture!

Position will float to our 3 Critical Access Hospitals : Navasota, Caldwell and Madisonville (Primarily Navasota and Caldwell)

Instructs, motivates and Assists patients to learn and improve functional activity, such as pre-ambulation, transfer, ambulation and daily living activities

Assesses, and compiles data on patients' responses to treatments

Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices

Encourages the active participation of the patient and / or family in goal setting and patient / family training / education

Minimum Qualifications :

• Associate Degree; Major in Kinesiology / Applied Science or other Physical Therapy related field
• Licensed by the State of Texas- Physical Therapist Assistant
• BLS CPR certified, American Heart Association
