Content Specialist, Client Communications

Position Summary

The Content Specialist will develop, execute, and oversee content for marketing campaigns and initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to create copy that drives business growth, client retention, and desired outcomes. This work will focus on digital experiences across web, email, video, and social media, following Ascensus brand standards.

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Turn strategic initiatives and industry trends into tactical solutions.

Understand and assess business needs to craft clear, concise, and effective messaging.

Manage all aspects of complex communications including content development, project planning, and creation of multiple versions based on data, logic, and branding.

Represent marketing at key meetings, providing status updates, consultation, and innovative solutions.

Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders, delivering on project specifications and deadlines.

Create meaningful content leveraging AI tools that is clear, actionable, and engaging—converting leads to clients and turning clients into loyal fans.

Copywrite across various marketing mediums : web, email, print, video scripting, presentations, articles, white papers, etc.

Use Microsoft Office Suite and CMS / project management tools for workflow, content planning, and marketing operations.

Adhere to quality control best practices for proofreading, reviews, and approvals.

Measure effectiveness of communications using A / B testing.

Protect and properly handle confidential data held by Ascensus to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.

Proficiency across digital, social, and print media, with understanding of SEO strategy and tactics.

Experience with AI copywriting tools.

Strong decision‑making, communication, critical thinking, project management, and follow‑through skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Self‑motivated team player comfortable in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience; samples and portfolio required.

Four‑year college degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

Understanding of regulated industries; financial services experience preferred.

Compensation

The national average salary range for this role is $80,000–$100,000 base pay, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Actual salary offered may vary based on location, experience, and performance. Additional benefits include 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, paid‑time‑off, and more.

Remote Work Expectations

For virtual remote positions, an uninterrupted workspace is required. Family care must be in place during business hours. Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps is required; if multiple users share the connection, a stronger connection is necessary. Note : For call‑center roles, a hard‑wired connection or close proximity to the router is required.
