Immigration Attorney (Located in Newark)

Overview

We are looking for an attorney with at least 1 year of experience, with proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required. This position will consist of consultations, preparations for hearings, and client representation at immigration court hearings. Candidate should also have some experience with preparing various family-based immigration applications including marriage petitions, work permits, I-601A, and adjustment of status. Candidate will be expected to attend non-detained court hearings primarily in Newark.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and represent clients at immigration court hearings (non-detained) in Newark.
• Prepare for hearings and manage client case files.
• Assist with preparing family-based immigration applications including marriage petitions, work permits, I-601A waivers, and adjustment of status.
