About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (06 : 30 - 19 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 1 year required; first-timers accepted

License : Must have an active state license in hand to apply

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS required

Must-Have :

Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab

Skills in Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, and Diagnostic Catheterizations

Ability to perform IABP Placement / Removal and interpretation of dysrhythmias

Experience with Left heart catheterization and Right heart catheterization

Proficiency in Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)

Experience in Rotablader athrectomy and Scrub Procedures

Knowledge of Isolation Precautions and Sterile Technique

Competence in middle and older adult care

Description :

This position requires a Cath Lab Tech with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Candidates must be willing to work 2-3 weekends during the contract.

On-call duty is required as needed.

Candidates will not float but should be open to accommodating block schedule requests.

Ideally, no more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is preferred.

The client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without compensation for canceled hours.

If additional hours are canceled, the client will be billed for those shifts.

If placed on-call, that will count as a called-off shift.

Experience in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab is a requirement.

Familiarity with Cerner charting is essential.

Knowledge of required infection control measures is critical.

All candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to set up equipment and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

The ideal candidate should exhibit proficiency in required procedural responsibilities and age-specific competencies.

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Travelers must complete the full assignment and adhere to all attendance and behavior expectations throughout.
