Job Title : Civil Superintendent

Job Location : Montgomery, AL & Birmingham, AL (Travel throughout AL & MS)

Salary : $80K-$140K

Requirements : 5+ years of civil construction. Experience with grading, earthwork, utilities, and roadways on industrial, municipal & similair projects.

Position Overview :

The Utility Superintendent will oversee the management and operation of utility services, including wastewater, water, and stormwater systems. This role is responsible for ensuring that all utility projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and supervise the construction and maintenance of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and municipal agencies to ensure project delivery meets specifications and regulations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for utility services.
• Conduct regular inspections of utility facilities and construction sites to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports and maintain records related to utility operations and projects.
• Oversee grading and earthwork activities related to utility installations.
• Train and mentor utility staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence in service delivery.
