Job Description :

The GIS Enterprise Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing a Geographic Information System (GIS) by overseeing the data integrity, system infrastructure, user access, and technical operations, ensuring smooth functionality and accurate data analysis for various organizational needs; tasks include database management, data quality control, system updates, user guidance and troubleshooting technical issues related to GIS software and applications.

Key responsibilities of a GIS Enterprise Administrator :

System Administration :

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the third-party managed services provider and ArcGIS Enterprise users.
• Installing, configuring, administering, maintaining, and coordinating the patching of ArcGIS software and related hardware.
• Managing geodatabases, including data structures, schema design, and data integrity checks.
• Monitoring system performance, up-time, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing updates.
• Manage and enforce data security and user access controls to maintain the integrity and protect the confidentiality of the data hosted by the system.

Required Skills :

The projected hourly range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000.
