The Jackson School development and alumni relations team is a vibrant and dedicated group of professionals. To serve the mission of the Jackson School and the University.

Provide direct administrative support to the development and alumni relations team.

Oversee the booking of travel, reimbursements, and other administrative processes for members of the development and alumni relations team.

Serve as liaison between the Jackson School's business office and the development and alumni relations team, including but not limited to reimbursements, expenses, and credit card statements.

Support and help plan various events, such as receptions, dinners, conferences, webinars, campus visits, including the 20th anniversary celebration of the Jackson School, etc.

Assist with goal setting, proposal preparation, portfolio management, and stewardship as required for donors.

Assist with maintaining appropriate electronic documentation on a timely basis, including engagement activities, proposal tracking, contact reports, donor strategies, and forecasting.

Assist in the coordination of activities for various gift officers and other staff members as needed, including but not limited to donor, prospect, and corporate visits, meetings or gatherings.

Assist with prospect and donor research, and various forms of donor outreach as needed.

Work collaboratively, proactively, and in a professional, service-oriented manner with all university development staff to further the development goals of the university.

Other related functions and duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree. A combination of two years of experience assisting with fundraising programs or performing complex administrative functions. Highly effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal). Project management skills. Capable of working independently and under pressure, while also engaging in collaboration between teams. Excellence in problem-analyzing, problem-solving, and customer service. Demonstrated high attention to details and accountability. Ability to use discretion and maintain integrity and professionalism. High degree of proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office. Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

More than three years of administrative assistance and / or events experience. Experience with VIP database and DEFINE. Working knowledge of UT Austin's policies and procedures.

$50,000+ depending on qualifications.

May work around standard office conditions
