Understanding and assigning tasks supplied by production manager. Enforce Company polices and implemented protocols. Monitors activity in assigned area – Mixing, Baking, Packing – product movement through areas. Clear communication to production manager such as but not limited to –Production reports, Product deviation, safety hazards, Equipment issues, staffing delays / head count etc. Enforcement of set protocols in assigned area- Example : allergen handling along with proper utensils. Demonstrate clear leadership in production, exercises positive influence over production employees. Professional demeanor. Exercising accountability. Delivering high quality work. Teamwork – work together to get the job done and generate recognition together. Ability to perform duties with tasked direction and handle ongoing assignments under the manager’s direction. Clear Grammar, Voice, and dictation to communicate with assigned team members – Purpose of obtaining, clarifying and Giving Information that impacts active operations. Above standard Organizational Skills Necessary to certify sequence of operations, effective reports, clear delivery of information. Ability to perform Physical demands – Walking & standing- Lift +10 lbs. / -50lbs. Bilingual – English and Spanish – “preferred” for effective communication with production staff and management teams Minimum 6-month experience in supervisory apprenticeship. Monitors quality problems, owns and acts on resolving. Understanding and ensuring of company food safety policies Understanding and ensuring set safety parameters established in facility. Products manufactured contain Allergens such as wheat, sesame, peanuts, tree-nuts, egg, milk, and others. Noise levels and temperatures, variable per area such as – “mixing, baking, packing “– mixers, depositors, ovens, coolers, freezers, racks, scanners, forklifts. Fingernails shall be kept trim and clean. No fingernail polish, decals, inserts, false nails, or nail extenders are allowed. Full length pants must be worn at all times. Shoe types that are prohibited from entering into production areas include; sandals, open heels, and open toe shoes. Jewelry is not allowed in areas of production, packaging, or warehouse that are within 10’ of exposed products or raw materials. Jewelry includes rings (with Stones), watches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, ankle bracelets, and so forth. Plain Wedding bands with no stones are permitted. The sole exception is for medical alert devices (the preferred device being a necklace or ankle bracelet worn below clothing).

Summary : Position is tasked with execution of line schedule / programed targets with company standards and product compliance. Responsible for providing support and training for employees to ensure targeted efficiencies in set department. Certify plant polices / procedures, safety guidelines, GMPs and food safety polices.
Responsibilities
- Delegation of daily tasks to production employees.
- Ensure and exercise good manufacturing practices throughout assigned shift.
- Must be able to provide Guidance with employee issues such as but not limited to - performance, attendance, safety, assigned tasks, etc.
- Maintain product specs in accordance with company Process books.
- Provide training to employees in assigned areas and breakdown of set responsibilities.
- Analyze and resolve any deviations that may occur on lines, assist workers in resolving issues.
- Prompt and accurate completion of BRCGS documentation, also any in-house required documentation.
- Monitoring and verification of established CCPs.
