Main responsibilities :
We are looking for a passionate, action-oriented, and communicative junior-level information security professional (0-2 years of experience) with exceptional problem-solving skills, drive, and self-motivation to join the Data Loss Prevention team. This learning-focused, positive Analyst will work alongside a geographically diverse team of security professionals focusing on Data Loss Prevention, Data Security, Insider Threat, and fraud within the Cybersecurity Operations Program. This individual will be part of the team directly identifying and eradicating risks to Albertsons Companies' data assets.
- Analyze and triage data loss prevention, Insider Risk, and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) alerts, manage incidents and assist with escalations, investigations, and remediations to improve the company's security posture. Document findings and actions.
- Support DLP policy tuning, testing, and validation of rules for minimization of false positives and increased data loss prevention insight. Assist in the development of rule exceptions.
- Support current and proposed technologies, implementations, strategies, and systems in the DLP / DSPM and Insider Risk space, identifying and supporting improvements for data security.
- Support tactical and strategic roadmaps, reporting, and procedures.
- Assist in defining and building workflow automation.
This position is based in Boise, ID and Pleasanton, CA.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following :
Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related functional field and / or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and / or relevant security certifications.At least some experience in the field of Information Technology or Information Security and basic knowledge of IT practices including networking, event management, access management, authentication, security scanning, and dev ops. Ideally, candidate would be developing experience in Information Security, preferably working with Enterprise DLP, File Integrity Monitoring, Least Privilege Access Control, and / or DSPM solutions for endpoints, email, databases, cloud platforms, proxies, and / or networks.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines both when working alone and with others.Self-motivated and able to complete projects with minimal supervision.Ability to rapidly evaluate, research, learn, and apply advanced and emerging data security principles, theories, and concepts.Positive attitude and outstanding, proactive problem-identification and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across the Enterprise and to work effectively in a matrixed, geographically distributed organization.Strong analytical abilities, experience creating and improving security reports and experience with data analysis / analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI.Experience with Security Incident and Event Management solutions and developing dashboards would be a plus, as would experience with data classification / tagging tools, cloud security / data protection generally.We also provide a variety of benefits including :Competitive wages paid weeklyAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay). The salary range is $70,300 to $96,960 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
