Delivery Driver

The driver is responsible for checking that all delivery orders are correct and following the most efficient routes for delivering food to destinations, including establishments and private homes.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Deliver menu items to customers while maintaining specified delivery times and standards for delivery.
• Check accuracy of each order prior to leaving the restaurant for the delivery.
• Transact sales.
• Ensure that items are packaged properly.
• Place required marketing pieces in packages.
• Make deliveries in an efficient manner.
• Obtain directions prior to leaving the restaurant.
• Take all safety precautions while delivering customer orders.
• Obey all laws, policies, and procedures while delivering customer orders.
• Report any customer incidents or complaints immediately.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicle.
• Assist the kitchen staff in performing cleaning duties and doing dishes.
• Assist the kitchen staff during slower times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
• Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling.

Qualifications :

Is able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Maintain a clean driving record. Maintain insurance on vehicle. Pass a background screening and provide State of Michigan Driving record.
