Travel Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech - $2,166 per week in Greenville, SC

Job Title : Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty : Pediatric Sleep Disorders Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : Minimum of 1 year required License : Must have RPSGT or RRT-SDS license in hand. Certifications : BLS, RPSGT or RRT-SDS Must-Have : Must have an exemption letter from LLR if RPSGT. Must have state license from LLR if RRT-SDS. Description : This position requires a licensed polysomnographer or sleep technician. The assigned schedule is 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each. Staff will be expected to work every other weekend, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Experience in charting with the Epic system is required. Experience with patient ratios of 2 : 1 is expected. Candidates must have a background in respiratory events, sleep stages, and PSG scoring. Skills required include CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen administration. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is necessary. Support for interpretation services is available. Patient demographics include neonates, infants, and pediatrics. The daily census will maintain a 2 : 1 patient ratio. All candidates must be willing to float to other units if required. Modules may be required prior to start and must be completed. Travelers must meet specific distance requirements for eligibility. All work will be performed according to documented competencies.
