  • Job Summary :

As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to animals in a kennel setting. Your duties will include feeding, bathing, exercising, and monitoring the health and well-being of the animals in your care.

  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with animals preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Compassion and patience for animals
  • Responsibilities :
  • Feed and water animals according to schedules and feeding instructions
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and animal holding areas
  • Monitor and record animal behavior, health, and conditions
  • Exercise animals in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist with bathing and grooming activities as needed
  • Report any concerns or issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of animals
  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • Willingness to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments
