Summary

Performs job site management and coordination of Heavy Civil construction projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Superintendents will supervise job assigned operators and laborers. Superintendents will interact closely with Building Superintendents, Field Foremen and Field Crews and Subcontractors.

Education and / or Experience

5 years related construction experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, contracts, specifications or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions within groups of managers, clients, investors, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry and surveying.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Special Requirements : Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment.
