Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of the Nutrition Care Process. Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in accordance with The Dietitian Practice Act and National Standards of Care as identified by professional Dietetic and Nutrition Support Organizations. Implement appropriate patient-centered nutrition interventions and goals. Leads the patient care team in development and implementation of nutrition plan of care. Communicate with patients, patient family members and other members of the health care team in a timely, professional and effective manner. Provide guidance in The Nutrition Care Process and manage per Provider ordered protocols the delivery of Medical Nutrition Therapy. Includes managing per Provider orders and / or protocols the provision of specialized nutrition support for clients receiving home nutrition support therapies. Act as a patient liaison to coordinate care with internal and external members of the interdisciplinary team. Precept Dietetic Interns. Assist in quality improvement initiatives to support departmental and organizational goals. Develop and provide educational programs for clients, students, employee and community audiences.Job Requirements
Education
Required : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited UniversityRequired : Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field; graduate after January 2024Experience
Preferred : 1-2 years clinical experiencePreferred : Experience in application of Nutrition Diagnostics and Nutrition Focused Physical ExamPreferred : Experience in provision of specialized nutrition supportSkills
