About the Position :

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facility General Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This position is a full-time position and will include a shift differential. Scheduled hours are Monday Friday 10 : 30pm-7 : 00am.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and order materials as needed.
• Assist with setup and teardown for events, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Assembling manufacturing machines / lines, learning how they work, performing preventative maintenance and making necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs and projects.
• Participate in emergency response efforts as needed, including snow removal and facility repairs.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
