Utility Field Technician - Electric Meters

The Meter Installation Technician is responsible for installing meters at utility locations. Key responsibilities include managing daily work schedules, accountability for assigned meters, working within a Work Order Management system, removing old meters, and installing new meters for residential and commercial use. This role involves significant public interaction and outdoor work.

Core duties include :

• Removing old electric meters and installing new ones
• Performing meter change-outs according to specified procedures
• Using a Work Order system to conduct work
• Managing inventory of meters
• Collaborating with utility personnel and consumers
• Responsible for the proper use of company vehicle

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
