The Role at a glance : We are looking to add a motivated, effective General Manager to our Constellation Culinary Group team in San Francisco, CA. As a GM, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of the Food & Beverage program for a Corporate Dining account. This role is Monday - Friday. Our ideal candidate : financially savvy, committed to clients' needs, strong leadership and communication skills.

What you'll be doing :

  • Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
  • Managing and leading a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
  • Ensuring that staff meet all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
  • Budgeting for the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts.
  • Conferring with the district manager or other departments about the technical and administrative aspects of dining service.
  • Addressing customer service needs.

What we're looking for :

Must-haves

  • At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
  • Previous experience with industrial cooking.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
  • The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
  • Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

    • Nice-to-haves

  • ServSafe and / or HACCP certification.

    • Compensation Range

    Base : $95,000 - $100,000 plus bonus
