Sproutlings is a one-of-a-kind pediatric day care and preschool offering both traditional early childhood education and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) services for medically fragile children.

Duties

What You’ll Do :

As a Teaching Assistant at Sproutlings, you’ll support the lead teacher and classroom by :

Assisting with daily lessons and structured play activities

Working one-on-one or with small groups of children

Preparing lesson materials and educational tools

Ensuring the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulating

Supervising children at all times and ensuring a secure environment

Providing positive guidance and implementing behavior policies

Supporting hygiene, nap times, and nutritious meals / snacks

Participating in songs, stories, and sensory play

Following all emergency procedures and safety policies

Contributing to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom

Requirements

What You’ll Bring :

Experience as a Childcare Assistant or Classroom / Teaching Aide

A passion for working with children of all abilities

Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

A high level of patience, empathy, and enthusiasm

Willingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulations

Successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
