Duties
What You’ll Do :
As a Teaching Assistant at Sproutlings, you’ll support the lead teacher and classroom by :
Assisting with daily lessons and structured play activitiesWorking one-on-one or with small groups of childrenPreparing lesson materials and educational toolsEnsuring the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulatingSupervising children at all times and ensuring a secure environmentProviding positive guidance and implementing behavior policiesSupporting hygiene, nap times, and nutritious meals / snacksParticipating in songs, stories, and sensory playFollowing all emergency procedures and safety policiesContributing to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroomRequirements
What You’ll Bring :
Experience as a Childcare Assistant or Classroom / Teaching AideA passion for working with children of all abilitiesStrong multitasking, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyA high level of patience, empathy, and enthusiasmWillingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulationsSuccessful completion of prescreening hiring requirementsBenefits
