Summary : Under direct supervision, this position operates light and medium road and construction equipment and trucks. Responsibilities include performing skilled, semi-skilled and manual unskilled work in the construction and maintenance of alleys, streets and other City properties. Generally works with a loader or motorgrader operator and has little supervisory responsibility.
Essential Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of the eighth (8th) grade and a minimum of one year of experience in the operation of light and medium construction equipment or trucks. Valid Texas Class "A" CDL Driver's License, with "X" endorsement, is required.

The employee works in an environment with heavy equipment and machinery that could result in bodily harm to self, co-workers, or others. The employee works primarily outdoors in all types of weather conditions, frequent exposure to traffic, and associated hazards.
