The Emulation Hardware Support Engineer

The Emulation Hardware Support Engineer is part of the Technical Operations Hardware team which leads the Hardware Support Process to achieve operational excellence in the Siemens EDA emulation product line installed base. The engineer supports the emulation of products from installation through service retirement, actively engaging the customer base to install, diagnose, and repair hardware while providing related support services. Key responsibilities include maintaining system uptime, resolving hardware issues quickly, improving system reliability, and working jointly with Operations, Quality, Research & Development, Sales, and Application Engineering in a global environment. The engineer also manages material dispositions, inventory levels, system updates, and communication with teams within Siemens EDA, while helping maintain a global monitoring system.
