CAD Technician / Surveyor
JOB DESCRIPTION
Expert Technical Solutions is seeking a CAD Technician / Surveyor for an exciting opportunity with an employee-owned top design firm. This company prioritizes its people, fostering growth and innovation. Their engineers and surveyors are committed to innovative, efficient design. This will be a full-time, hybrid position in either their Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, NC offices.
DAY-TO-DAY :
- Produce and revise boundary, topographic, wastewater, easement, and construction survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Interpret field data collected by survey crews and convert it into CAD deliverables
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to prepare site development and civil design plans
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and state regulations
- Assist in managing project deadlines and CAD standards
- Support licensure efforts (if unlicensed) with mentorship and professional development opportunities
