PHP Developer

Located in Spokane, WA

We are looking for a PHP Developer with a minimum of 18 months experience programming and developing in PHP.

We operate an extensive backend system that basically runs our business and we're looking for more people to help us maintain and expand the middle-tiered delivery level of our system. We have some amazing new features in the pipeline and need more experienced help.

If you enjoy coding great, clean PHP but are tired of the regular beat working for an IT or media company; this may be the change of pace you're looking for. We're a small team of less than 10 in-house web developers. We only work on products that make our company and our clients experience better. The customer service people that you'll take breaks with, play pool with, and chit chat over coffee with; will be the people that you'll instantly make better work environments for when your work is made live. You'll enjoy turning something live that instantly makes all the day to day tasks our customer service people do insanely easier and more efficient. You won't be isolated from the employees that actually take care of our clients. We feel this creates a fun work environment, and gives instant feedback on what actually works and what doesn't. If you find it rewarding to make a new feature that cuts out two monotonous hours a day out of the person you enjoy eating lunch with and seeing them enjoy their job more because of you instead of finishing a scope and never knowing if what you just made actually accomplished anything, then this job may be for you.

We could list a bunch of technical stuff that would be nice if you knew, but at the end of the day we really just need great PHP programmers and PHP developers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand the middle-tiered delivery level of the backend system.
  • Help implement and deploy new features in the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with a small in-house team to improve products and the overall work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months experience programming and developing in PHP.
  • Proficiency in building PHP applications.
