AppleOne is recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Central Operations Supervisor to lead a small team within its deposit operations group. This on-site role in Fresno, CA is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in banking operations, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of a high-volume deposit operations team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor clerical and support staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Resolve escalated processing issues and conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Partner with Compliance and senior leadership to mitigate risk and support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead process improvement efforts, including automation and workflow optimization.
  • Support audit and examination readiness through documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices (e.g., BSA, AML, Reg E, Reg D, Reg CC).

Areas of Oversight

  • Payments & Funds Movement : ACH, wire transfers, EFT disputes, TT&L, Fed returns.
  • Deposit & Account Services : Non-posts, overdrafts, stop payments, dormant accounts, collections.
  • Legal & Regulatory : Levies, subpoenas, Regulation E claims.
  • Reconciliation & Balancing : General ledger, DDA, ATM, cash vault, positive pay.
  • Card & Specialized Services : Debit card processing, ATM cash logistics, foreign currency, remote deposits.

    • Qualifications

    Required :

  • Associate’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in banking, including 2+ years in deposit operations.
  • Proven experience managing teams and operational workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Fedline Advantage, and eBanking platforms.
  • Familiarity with banking products and regulatory frameworks.

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with Fiserv systems.
  • AAP, APRP, or NACHA certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
