Structural Steel Erector / Iron Worker Forman

Sunset Steel Erectors seeks a ONSITE STEEL ERECTOR IRON WORKER FOREMAN . The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and give clear directives to the project team while developing good working relationships with clients, vendors, sub-contractors, and employees.

Position, salary, and benefits commensurate with experience (5 years minimum).

Duties :

• Running and operating a steel erection team.
• Running and operating onsite rented or owned equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, welding machines, boom lifts, and cranes.
• Complete knowledge of Steel Erection Drawings.
• Act as liaison between office, shop, subcontractors, and GC.
• Coordinate and oversee the work performed by sub-contractors or employees to ensure that the project is completed on time.
• Oversee the delivery of materials, construction tools, and equipment to the job site.
• Attend onsite meetings, visit job site, and take field measurements as required.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are adhered to by our entire team.
• Monitor compliance with regulations and project specifications.
• Schedule meetings and hold active discussions for erectors and safety personnel.
• Fill out proper safety paperwork, field work tickets, and all other paperwork.
