Position Requirements

Connecticut Orthopaedics Specialists is hiring full-time OR RN positions to staff the expansion of our surgery center in Branford, CT. We offer a professional, congenial work environment, professional development, and a comprehensive suite of benefits. • Holds a current state of Connecticut license as a Registered Nurse
• Holds a current certification in basic life support
• Has a minimum of (2) years of OR nursing experience; orthopedics a plus
• Possess a good command of the English language, both oral and written
• Ability to meet the needs of the nursing service as demanded by the schedule, especially when overtime hours and time changes are necessary
• Ability to work well with surgeons, employees, patients and coworkers alike
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast paced work environment
• Will pass a criminal and medical fraud background check - required
• Experience working in a surgery center - a plus.
