Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Facility : This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the New Hampton community and surrounding areas. The facility features 2 operating rooms with modern equipment, supported by a team of surgical techs, RNs, and other CRNAs, providing comprehensive surgical services in a collaborative environment. Opportunity : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Details :

• Ongoing sporadic coverage for PTO needs - must be local or within driving distance
• Guaranteed 8-hour days with variable schedule - NO CALL required
• Will primarily handle cataract patients (11-15 cases per day) plus other procedures (3-4 daily)
• Work independently with provider or surgeon present
• EMR system is EPIC - 4-5 hour training class will be compensated
• Facility is a Level 4 trauma center with annual ER volume around 5,000
• Support surgical cases including total hips / knees, scopes, cataracts, and minor surgeries
• Required experience with : general surgery (adult and pediatric), minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, ventilation management, and local infiltration
• Handle procedures including cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, etc.
• Must be experienced - no new grads accepted
• Required credentials : NBCRNA certification, active Iowa license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and COVID vaccine
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 1 month or less Compensation : Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Estimated Hourly Rate : $ 200 - $ 250
