Job Description :
- Responsible for the competitive bid process for Construction and Capital Projects for the County in addition to maintaining contracts and communications with vendors; Assists with the training of new buyers.
- Develops and prepares public solicitation process from inception through contract aware and management for Construction / Capital Projects.
- Advises and cooperates with County departments in the evaluation of products and services including delivery, prices and vendor reliability.
- Seeks new sources of vendors for the competitive bidding process, including the searching and recruiting of Minority, Women-owned and small business.
