LOCATION

Primary sites : Atlanta, GA; Akron, Ohio; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Newark, New Jersey

Onsite at power plants with occasional hybrid flexibility (industry standard is mostly onsite)

Travel : 10–15% (site visits; travel, lodging, and daily food stipend covered)

COMPENSATION

Starting at $110K

SCHEDULE

Direct Hire – flexible 40 hrs per week

Full-time, direct hire with benefits (PTO, retirement, insurance)

POSITION OVERVIEW – Project Manager

The Project Manager will manage, direct, and take ownership of large-scale capital projects in the Energy, Transmission, and Distribution group, with a strong focus on the electrical utility sector.

Responsibilities span performance, safety, quality, schedule, and budget, along with leading the project management team (PM, Project Engineer, APM, Superintendent, and field personnel). The role requires overseeing contract administration, planning, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and resource management.

Project Managers are expected to drive safe, high-quality, and financially sound outcomes across all phases of each initiative while establishing strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.

• The Project Manager will manage, direct and take ownership of projects (i.e. performance, safety, quality, schedule, and budget) and project management team (i.e. Project Manager,
• Project Engineer, APM, Superintendent and all field personnel).
• The individual in this role will oversee contract administration, project planning, and the management of labor, equipment, and other resources. Project Manager are expected to drive optimal outcomes across all phases of each initiative.
• This position requires establishing and cultivating professional relationships with owners,
• subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders to ensure mutual satisfaction and project success.
• Periodic travel, amounting to 10–15%, will be necessary to visit project sites and report on milestones, performance, safety, quality, and budget adherence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

PMP or PgMP certification OR 10+ years of project management in electric utilities required.

Direct experience with electrical utility projects (transmission, distribution, substations, or related).
