HALLIBURTON : The Casing Equipment COE is Looking for You

Halliburton invites qualified candidates to apply for a position with the Casing Equipment Center of Excellence (COE) in Houston, Texas. This opening is for an advisor level mechanical engineering position in the technology department. Candidates with interests and background in mechanical system design, hydraulics, seal technology, material selection, and manufacturing processes are encouraged to apply. This position provides an opportunity to participate in developing and maintaining an industry leading product portfolio. Successful candidates are expected to perform independent as well as team-oriented development activities to expand the group's expertise and technology portfolio. Responsibilities

• Actively participates (often leading) in the characterization, qualification, modeling, analysis, design, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and design reviews for new and existing mechanical designs
• Serves as a technical expert by coaching and developing other employees
• Creates and maintains best practices that incorporate Reliability, Health, Safety, and Environment concepts to guide others in analysis and design
• Communicates and collaborates with different groups including product management, regional tech advisors, and other technology teams, etc
• Publishing in patent applications, technical journals, and conferences
• Represents Halliburton in external professional societies and conferences such as API and ISO
