Mammography Supervisor

Position Summary : Supervises the daily operations of the Mammography department. Performs mammography screening and diagnostic exams on patients of all ages consistent with established department procedures. Follows and implements all regulatory requirements for FDA, MQSA, DPH, and ACR.

Accountabilities include assisting patients in moving as rapidly, uneventfully, safely and effectively as possible through procedures; positive customer, interdepartmental and intra-departmental communications; and maintaining and improving competencies.

Requirements :

Education : Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology

Licensure / Registrations :

• Current MA license in general diagnostic radiology and mammography.
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current CPR certification required.
