We are hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Surgical First Assistant for our Cardiac Surgery Location in Western Tennessee!
Located near Memphis, TN, one of the busiest practices in the area! The CSFA will primarily first assist in the operating room and operative care in heart surgery. Work mostly with patients in bread-and-butter heart surgery procedures, and may do some minimally invasive procedures as well.
Candidate MUST be proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting AND must have excellent first assisting skills in Heart Surgery!
What you will do
- Clinical Practice Expert : Provides advanced level of direct and indirect care to individual patients / families and / or groups of patients / families in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Evidence-Based Consultant & Researcher : Demonstrates collaborative leadership with researchers, other health professionals, divisions, and departments to generate knowledge and make practice changes based on research findings, as well as, the results of the organizational and departmental quality improvement processes.
- Clinical Leadership : Provides leadership in meeting system, organizational, division, and departmental goals.
- Demonstrates accountability for professional responsibilities and self-development.
Education / Formal Training Requirements
Master's Degree Physician AssistantWork Experience Requirements
5 or more years of experience as a Physician AssistantLicenses and Certifications Requirements
Certified Physician Assistants (CCPA) National Commission on Certification of Physician AssistantsSupervision Provided by this Position
