League School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking part-time DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS for our residential program in Walpole to work 2nd and 3rd shifts on weekends. Other shifts may also be available. Starting pay rate is $22.00 / hour.

Position Requirements :

• Must have HS diploma and preferably a Bachelor’s degree; or be in an undergraduate course of study, preferably special education, education, psychology, human services or social work.
• Prior experience caring for children in a residential setting required; autism experience preferred.
• Safety Care, CPR and First Aid certifications (training will be provided if you do not have these currently).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass rigorous background checks, including nationwide fingerprint screening.

Supervision Received : Program Manager, Assistant Residential Manager

Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Mail.
