License : Must have BLS and SC License or Multistate License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

1. 1 Year of Experience in the specialty area

2. Ability to float to other units per request due to census concerns

3. Documentation of competencies for floating to other units

Description :

Must have BLS and SC License or Multistate license.

Must have 1 year of EPIC experience.

Responsible for the care of patients with geriatric and nephrology diagnoses.

Staff may be required to float to other units as needed.

Patient ratio for days and nights is 6 : 1.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and pharmacy services.

Requires skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Daily census is approximately 23.

Unit consists of 24 beds.

Position involves working with adult and geriatric patient age groups.

Completion of required modules prior to start is mandatory.

Compliance with floating policy is necessary.

Orientation hours are provided for new hires.

Healthcare experience is critical for effective patient care.

Interactions with interdisciplinary teams are essential for patient outcomes.
