GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB : To perform a variety of clerical duties in support of receiving and shipping, to monitor and maintain inventory records, and to perform a variety of duties relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

• Coordinate the preparation and shipment of outbound orders to meet customer satisfaction, utilizing the customer’s portal and / or the IQMS system. 100% accuracy is expected.
• Communicate the shipping status of customer orders as needed.
• Verify the quantity of delivered and shipped products against the accompanying packing slip and note any discrepancies before signing for delivery. 100% accuracy is expected.
• Verify the physical condition of all receipts / outbound shipments and note any damage to the packaging and / or product on the freight Bill of Lading when signing for the delivery.
• Coordinate the unloading of all vendor shipments and delivery to the designated individual or department within 24 hours of receipt. Expedites will be delivered immediately.
• Enter all receipts into the IQMS system the same day as the delivery. Deliveries on the 3rd and 2nd shifts will be entered by the end of the day.
• Scan all loads as required, verify accuracy, and store materials in the proper warehouse area.
• Support production, as needed, with material handling duties.
• Participate in periodic inventories, including cycle counts.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse.
• Effectively communicate and work from verbal and written instructions.
• Practice and reinforce safe work habits, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties, as assigned by the Supervisor.
