Senior Registrar

The Senior Registrar is responsible for the strategic, operational leadership and direction for all activities associated within the Registrar Services Department. This includes but is not limited to determination of acceptable proof of graduation, registration, establishment of the academic calendar, consultation on course schedules, degree audits, veterans' certifications, evaluation of transfer credit, documentation of proficiency credit, issuance of grades and transcripts, administration of Satisfactory Academic Progress, oversight of the development and monitoring of academic plans, supervision of the appeal process and publication of the catalog. This position provides leadership in the collaboration between the campuses, student success, admissions, financial aid and registrar to ensure excellent service to students. The Senior Registrar is a critical role in the leadership and support of the University strategy to embrace the lifelong learning of our students.

This role will be hybrid with a required number of in-office days and remote work.

Education and Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited university, Master's degree is preferred.
• Five years of registrar experience at a multi-level, multi-location educational institution.
• Ten or more years of professional experience in higher education is preferred.
• Significant experience in the use and functionality of student information systems, preferably with Anthology and / or Salesforce.
• Significant experience with efficient processing and reporting of student records; demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations and stakeholders across the University.
• Working knowledge of the Department of Education regulations and understanding of the interdependencies of student records and the awarding of title IV funds.

Competencies :

Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $78,117 to $105,687.
