Unit Description : Provides entry level professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness. Working closely with the preceptor during the initial orientation period, the Staff Nurse I functions as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams providing direct care to patients and families, teaching, and preparation for continuing care during and following care transitions.

On-call : Not required.
