Provide management, oversight, and technical expertise for all Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) molding projects and activities, including tooling. This involves supporting development timelines, process improvements, validation activities, and serving as the molding subject matter expert.
KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Promote Safety First in all Molding areas, equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Support Quote Manager with cost and NRE input for tooling-related quotes.
- Assist with Tooling (Mold) Design Support.
- Coordinate with Tooling Vendor Support.
- Collaborate with Mold Equipment Vendors.
- Support and oversee Molding Process Development, Validation, and Optimization.
- Participate in Molding Cost Improvement Projects (CIP).
- Serve as a resource for Molding Process Transfers to other facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Four-year degree in a technical field (or equivalent) preferred.Ten years of molding experience in the Medical Device Industry preferred.Master Molder 1 Certification preferred.Excellent written communication and computer skills.Understanding of molding process validation and related theory / tools.Knowledge of mold tooling Design for Manufacture (DFM).J-18808-Ljbffr
