Job Overview :

US Trades is seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator and Logistics Support team member to assist with material handling at one of our active conveyor system installation projects. This position will play a key role in ensuring that all components and materials are received, organized, and delivered to work areas in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate propane-powered forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Unload trucks and receive materials according to delivery schedules
  • Work closely with mechanical installation crews to deliver and stage materials as needed
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory counts of all incoming and used components
  • Assist with organizing materials and maintaining a clean, orderly laydown yard or storage area
  • Coordinate with project leadership and warehouse teams to identify parts and material needs
  • Follow all project site safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance issues
  • Support other logistics, labor, or site-related duties as required to keep material flow consistent and installation teams supplied

Requirements :

  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Minimum 12 years of experience operating propane-powered forklifts
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems or construction site operations a plus
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately maintain inventory records
  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and support the team wherever needed
  • Must be reliable and punctual with a strong safety-first mindset
