Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Experience Coordinator at the Energy in Motion clinic. This person is the first impression of our office and makes each patient feel special. They will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between the doctor and patients, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. A self starter who can multitask while maintaining an optimistic attitude helps our team maintain its 5-star reputation.

35-40 hours per week. Office hours are :

Monday-Thursday : 9am to 5pm (lunch 12pm to 2 : 30)

Friday : 9am to 12pm

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill front desk duties : open / close office, manage phones, greet & direct visitors
  • Maintain daily schedules and patient files
  • Follow check-out procedures for patients, collecting payments, seeking feedback, and setting follow up appointments
  • Verify insurance benefits for a subset of services
  • Educate patients about products and services that enhance their lives
  • Keep office organized through email management, mail sorting, scanning, returning calls and maintaining inventory
  • Manage social media accounts to boost awareness of services and patient success stories
  • Assist other teammates as needed, including helping apply red light medical lasers to patients (paid light therapy training provided)

Qualifications

  • Experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
  • Pleasant phone demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Ability to memorize information
  • Excellent follow through and multitasking abilities
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Thrive in a fast paced environment, continually seek new ways to improve operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Logical thinker with math and patient accounting; comfortable asking for, and collecting, payments
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is a plus
  • Compensation is determined on an individual basis depending on previous experience and skillset.
