Sarasota County Government is offering a full-time position in the Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources department with a salary of $15.35 hourly in Sarasota, FL.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience in semi-skilled labor in park or athletic field maintenance, and a valid drivers license. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of sports field maintenance and experience in higher level sports field playing surfaces.

Job competencies include basic computer software skills, knowledge of athletic field maintenance techniques, and the ability to operate field maintenance equipment. The position requires the ability to work any time from 6 : 00 a.m. to 12 : 00 a.m., perform heavy manual labor, and pass a pre-employment substance screening.
