Program Manager, College of Medicine, Environmental and Public Health Sciences
The Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences (DEPHS), a world-renowned institution for environmental health and public health research, is seeking an individual whose work has a strong affinity towards community outreach, health education, and environmental public health.
This CEC program manager position serves as a community engagement specialist for the Community Engagement Core (CEC) of the Center for Collaboration on Climate & Community for Health (C4H) and supports the mission of the Center. The C4Health is funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and is housed in the University of Cincinnati-College of Medicine, Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences. The successful candidate will engage with local community members and organizations and have a strong comfort level communicating exposure science and climate health information to the public and being the liaison between CEC, C4H members and researchers, and the lay community. The individual will report directly to the co-directors of the CEC and be responsive to guidance from the C4Health directors and core / project directors. The individual will serve as the point of contact for community members, advisory committees, and outreach personnel from other centers and projects. This position works closely and collaboratively with the C4Health program coordinator.
