Brown & Brown is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN!

The Benefits Specialist assists the Account Team in servicing the benefit consulting responsibilities of the employee benefit clients. Utilizes technical expertise to retain present clients. Administers marketing and renewal functions. Assists client with daily service functions. To acquire a knowledge of all phases of the roles within the Employee Benefits Department.

How You Will Contribute :

• All responsibilities that fall within the Account Coordinator career tracks.
• Basic level of compliance, benchmarking, renewal & marketing, reporting & analytics and able to perform these functions with little guidance.
• Helps with onboarding new clients.
• Assist clients with daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests.
• Create, review and edit employee benefit guides, benefit manuals and other client materials as requested.
• Creates and maintains strong relationships with vendors.
• Prepares and submits client utilization and financial reporting to consultants and to client.
• Reviews insurance circulars and bulletins to keep current on changes in the industry.
• Confers with team to identify, plan and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.
• Basic renewal & marketing level.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Pay Range $30 - $35 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and / or budget for the role.
