Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a current CA RN license and advanced life support certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Evening shifts available with 12-hour shifts starting at either 1 : 00pm or 3 : 00pm
  • 36 hours per week with variable start times
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • On-call required as needed
  • May float to nearby campus as needed
  • Responsible for managing comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge in the ER
  • Coordinates with physicians, family, and other health team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Sets priorities and directs emergency interventions calmly and efficiently
  • Performs clinical assessments, develops individualized care plans, and documents patient progress
  • Only one holiday requested off will be approved during the assignment
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract acceptance

  • Active and current CA RN license required
  • Certifications needed : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Returning employees must have been gone for at least 1 year to be eligible
