Job Description : Associate Attorney (Landlord / Tenant) - New Jersey (NY Bar admission a plus)

Our Firm : We are a reputable law firm specializing in LL / T & real estate law and are currently seeking an Associate Attorney with at least one year of experience in Landlord / Tenant matters. Responsibilities :

Handle a caseload of Landlord / Tenant matters, including lease drafting and negotiation, eviction proceedings, lease violations, and tenant disputes.
Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases and legal strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and billing records.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in Landlord / Tenant law.

Requirements :

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey.

Minimum of one year of experience in Landlord / Tenant law, including drafting leases, eviction proceedings, and tenant disputes.

Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.

Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Proficient in legal research tools and technology.

NY Bar admission is a plus but not required.
