HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a leading semiconductor service supplier company to hire a Safety Specialist. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving safety protocols and procedures at our facilities and project sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies while fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Position : Bilingual Safety Specialist (Spanish / English)
Location : North Phoenix, Arizona
Type : Direct Hire
Pay Rate : $25-28 / hour DOE
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits at project and manufacturing sites
- Enforce compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Develop and deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientation, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills
- Maintain records of incidents, training, and safety-related documentation
- Investigate workplace incidents and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
- Support risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHA) for ongoing projects
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and operations teams to promote safe work practices
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance and readiness
- Participate in internal and client safety meetings
- Assist with regulatory reporting and documentation as required
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a safety-related role in an industrial, construction, or chemical environmentKnowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety best practicesExcellent communication and training skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)OSHA 30 certification or higher preferredBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferredSpanish bilingual abilities is a MUST.Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to project sites as neededJ-18808-Ljbffr
